Happy Holidays! Help Us Help Others Facing Disaster
One of the central missions of CoreXchange is to help companies recover from unexpected disasters and limit the impact that potentially devastating events can have on their employees and customers. We go beyond mere data protection with cutting edge disaster recovery solutions such as duplicate business systems, proactive hot sites, preventative warm sites, and recovery cold sites.
With this mindset, we’ve always admired organizations like the American Red Cross who dive courageously into some of the most challenging, dangerous, and heart-breaking disasters.
The American Red Cross is a devoted group of true heroes — both here in our community and across the globe. Just turn on the news next time a major earthquake or hurricane strikes some remote corner of the earth, and you’ll see the Red Cross saving lines and easing suffering for those most in need (as well as rallying support here).
2011 has been a tough year: Devastating tornadoes in Missouri and Alabama. Flooding in Thailand. The Japanese nuclear disaster and tsunami. Wildfires across the Southwest. A historically dire drought and famine in East Africa. The Red Cross is doing their best to ease suffering everywhere, but they need our help.
So for Christmas this year, CoreXchange is proud to be making a donation to the Dallas Chapter of the American Red Cross. And we’re encouraging all of our customers, business partners, friends and family to do the same.
“Support like this shown by CoreXchange is truly inspirational,” said Leslie Palmer, interim Chief Executive Officer, American Red Cross, North Texas Region. “Not only is their contribution assuring the delivery of our life saving mission but they are asking others to think about the Red Cross when they give this holiday season too. Being in the recovery business, they understand the importance of what we do, helping a family tonight who loses everything in a house fire to a whole community who is impacted by a tornado or other type of significant storm system. Because of donations like this the Red Cross is there to help when help is needed most. We are truly grateful for this gift.”
