| Feb 25, 2009 |
Key Highlights:
- Provides another choice for network services in Telx’s Dallas facility at 8435 Stemmons Parkway.
- Offers an additional vendor for Telx’s Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) service, providing customers enhanced reliability, resiliency and low latency connectivity.
- Provides CoreXchange with another point of presence, or PoP, in Dallas, and offers services to customers in Telx’s facility.
NEW YORK and DALLAS (February 25, 2009) – Telx, one of the largest domestic interconnection and colocation data center operators, has added CoreXchange, one of the IT industry’s fastest growing providers of advanced networking solutions, to its roster of global service providers available at 8435 Stemmons Freeway in Dallas. CoreXchange now has a network point of presence in Telx’s facility, providing Telx’s Dedicated Internet Access customers colocated there the ability to connect to CoreXchange’s industry-leading Network Access Exchange. The Network Access Exchange delivers high performance, redundant connectivity to a mesh of six Tier-1 Internet backbones – including AT&T, Global Crossing, and Level 3 – through a fully managed, single connection.
“Telx is all about choices. Adding additional bandwidth and carrier options to our facility at 8435 Stemmons is key to supporting the Telx value proposition,” said Rose Klimovich, Vice President of Product Development and Product Management for Telx. “By working with CoreXchange in Dallas, we are able to offer customers greater bandwidth and a more complete network solution that includes flexible space, interconnection choices, and highly reliable, low latency connectivity. Through the new relationship, either Telx or CoreXchange can be the single point of contact to customers in need of a total IT solution comprised of colocation space, interconnections with a wide variety of carrier and business networks, and highly reliable and low latency Internet connectivity. In addition, CoreXchange’s fully meshed topology creates a network in which each network PoP is connected independently to every other PoP, allowing for automatic traffic re-routing in case of a network outage in any point in the network. This creates an infrastructure that is highly resilient for business continuity and disaster recovery purposes.
“CoreXchange customers have high standards in terms of connectivity and network services,” said Julia Morgan, sales executive at CoreXchange. “By building a relationship with Telx in Dallas, we can continue to offer industry-leading connectivity along with cost effective and flexible colocation space. | Free Colocation Space and Power Offer through CoreXchange Configurator |
| May 13, 2008 |
Dallas, Texas – CoreXchangeSM today announced a new offer of free colocation space and power with minimum order of 80 Mb of bandwidth per month accessible through its ConfiguratorSM pricing tool. The patent-pending Configurator, located on the CoreXchange website at http://configurator.corexchange.com, allows enterprise customers and resellers the ability to generate an instant quote for multi-homed connectivity consisting of multiple Tier-1 carriers through one source – CoreXchange.
Customers selecting this newly released Configurator package will receive one year of free colocation space (up to a full cabinet) and up to 20 amps (110v) primary power with contracts for bandwidth of 80 Mb per month or more.
“CoreXchange manages a highly sophisticated network that delivers the speed and performance required for high capacity bandwidth applications such as video streaming and gaming,” said Julia Morgan, sales executive with CoreXchange. “This new offer allows enterprise businesses to easily transition to our data center and take advantage of our advanced network offering.” All CoreXchange customers receive multi-homed connectivity providing one-hop access to multiple Tier-1 backbones.
With one of the most talented technical teams in the network services industry and the latest next-generation network (NGN) core routing and switching equipment, CoreXchange has established itself as a leading provider of “network-centric” services. CoreXchange managed bandwidth services allow IT enterprises to outsource with confidence the complex, capital-intensive task of connecting directly to multiple Tier-1 backbone providers. With this multi-homed solution, customer applications benefit from high performance, low latency and the increased reliability associated with multiple paths to any Internet destination. Traffic can easily route around traffic spikes or dDOS attacks on other parts of the Internet. Latency-sensitive applications—such as streaming audio and video, gaming and VoIP— can utilize the most direct path to all the major carrier networks. CoreXchange’s CoreControlSM customer portal provides traffic graphs, billing detail and overall network health reporting so that customers can effectively manage their network connectivity and costs.
Through the CoreXchange Configurator, customers select their own combination of carriers, bandwidth, cap level and terms as the price is adjusted in real time. This customization ultimately provides a network that is unique to individual requirements and preferences. The quote process for a mesh of Tier-1 carriers typically involves months of negotiations but takes CoreXchange customers only seconds to generate quotes through the online Configurator tool.
